A multi-billion dollar construction boom is underway in Qatar. This unprecedented construction boom coupled with a growing public interest in green and landscaped areas is driving double-digit growth for the full range of landscaping products and technologies as well as outdoor furniture and accessories. This demand is fueled by widespread projects that include: tens of thousands of housing units, residential compounds, schools, hospitals, parks, palaces and government buildings. Estimates put the expenditure on landscaping closer to QR 3 Billion (US$800 Million) for the next 3 years. Leisure parks, water parks, beach resorts and luxurious real estate development projects, in turn add to the massive demand for landscaping and hardscaping products and technologies.
